We started I Am Cancun because planning a trip to this stretch of the Mexican Caribbean shouldn’t mean sifting through fifty tabs of outdated blog posts and generic “top 10” lists.
I Am Cancun is a local-first guide to Cancún, Puerto Morelos, Isla Mujeres, and the wider Riviera Maya — real recommendations on where to stay, what tours are actually worth your time, and how to make the most of a cruise stop or a full week here.
What we do
We curate and review hotels, tours, and excursions across the region, then link you directly to trusted booking partners like Booking.com and Viator to complete your reservation. That means you get local knowledge and honest recommendations from us, and secure booking and customer support from the platforms built for it.
